I used to love this place. It's always been (and still is) clean and reasonably priced, and most of the machines work most of the time. There's a puzzle on the table that patrons can do to pass the time, and people used to do that puzzle together while they would chat and interact and make new friends (or enjoy old one). If I had written this review last year, it would have been an enthusiastic five stars all the way. Then came the "upgrades". There's now a nice new children's area, which is certainly a positive, but now there are tvs, one of which blasts Fox News loudly and constantly, just like in any waiting room or other public area across the US. Coming here used to be pleasant and stress-free for me, but. Ow the constant barrage of negativity sets me on edge, and I dread this "chore" that I used to look forward to; also, now people don't seem talk so much anymore, and the puzzle sits unattended. Maybe it's just me, but what I loved about this place was its quaint, friendly, hometown feel. But now that that's been replaced with the incessant venom-spewing vitriol of Fox News, I'm looking for a new place to wash my clothes. But, hey, if you're a Fox News fan, you'll love it here.
I went here for the first time last night. I was very impressed. They have machines from one load for $2.50 up to six loaders for $6.75 the dryers are cheap and dry well with every heat setting you could want. Large tables to fold your laundry change machine that excepts $1-$20 bills so you don't need to make change they sell small packs of name brand laundry soap/fabric softener and bags to carry your laundry 0.50¢ each. The machines were clean and didn't smell musty they have regular washers and high efficiency ones soda machine play area for children with toys and small table and chairs for them to use lots of washers and dryers so you likely won't have to wait long and the owners let me stay a half hour after they were going to close so I could finish drying and folding my laundry. They are very nice kind ppl and I will return next time my water is out or I have large blankets that my washer at home can't handle. Their washers do a better job getting my clothes clean then my home washer very satisfied with my visit would recommend to anyone looking to do alot of laundry in a small amount of time for a great price
